Executive team

BT Conferencing has attracted an entrepreneurial executive team experienced in the telecommunications markets and widely respected within the industry. The team has an average of 20 years experience with the leading communications and computer equipment companies, as well as servicing the Global 2000.

Global Executive Team

Aaron was appointed CEO of BT Conferencing in August 2006 and has executive responsibility for BT’s Audio/Video Conferencing and Collaboration businesses worldwide with a revenue of $180m and 750 people.

Aaron was Vice President of BT’s Global Products division for BT from 2002. He was responsible for all of BT’s network businesses totaling nearly $5 billion in revenue, spanning 120 countries and growing at nearly 10% per annum.

He also takes a prominent role in BT’s merger and acquisition activities and business development and is BT’s age diversity champion.

Prior to his current position, he held a variety of positions with BT and its joint ventures – including those with AT&T and MCI. He has worked extensively in sales, service, product marketing and product development. These roles have seen him live and work in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He currently lives in Brussels.

Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business and French from the Queen’s University of Belfast.

Phil Kenny is responsible for establishing product direction, software development, implementation and support, including software systems for BT Conferencing's internal use and software products for remote use by BT Conferencing customers. Under his leadership, BT Conferencing has successfully provided some of the world's leading companies with state-of-the-art conferencing solutions that increase employee productivity and enable these companies to take advantage of industry advancements, the Internet, and their existing technology foundations.

Before joining BT Conferencing, Phil founded Metratech, a web services-based billing software company. During his tenure, he acted as Vice President of Services, where he was responsible for all customer, industry professional, web, and support services. Previously, he was Manager of Software Development at Netcentral, a role in which he conceived, designed, implemented, and supported the company's billing reporting engine. He graduated from the National University of Ireland in 1987 with a BE (Honors).

US Executive Team

As General Manager of the US, Jack Blaeser is responsible for overall leadership in the US that supports both the BTC organizational objectives and the unique business requirements of the Americas market. As Executive Vice President of Sales for the US, Jack is responsible for direct management of the US Sales Organization and Global Accounts.

Previously Jack was EVP of Global Sales, Customer Service and Acting Chief Operations Officer at Parable Telecommunications Group Plc in London. There, Jack was responsible for developing and leading strategy, direction, and management of global field sales, inside sales, marketing, and customer service teams for Europe and North America. He directed sales growth of 30% per month and the product development of 50 new services and features for the new venture.

Prior to Parable, Jack was the Global Accounts Director for Equant Inc and was responsible for generating sales of over $100 million and managing the global business and teams for some of the company's largest customers. Prior to Equant, Jack spent nine years in the AT&T sales organization.

Jack has earned a Master of Business Administration from Boston College and both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

Jim McCarthy manages key channel partner relationships for BT Conferencing's US-based wholesale sales organization, where he has built a team of professionals who work closely with channel partners to deploy innovative conferencing solutions. He also oversees partnership activities with other telecommunications partners.

For over 20 years, Jim has worked in the telecommunications industry in a variety of positions including market management, product management, and sales. At Verizon, he was a Regional Vice President of Sales for the global accounts division responsible for managing and growing revenue streams in excess of $250 million. His team of over seventy professionals managed over 60 of the corporation's largest customers.

Most recently Jim served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for an Internet infrastructure software company where he grew revenues through the creation of OEM deals and partner relationships.

He earned his BS in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University and his MBA from Babson College.

Mark Flood is responsible for sales strategy and management of all existing business within BT Conferencing as well as their Inside Sales group. He joined BT Conferencing in June of 2002 and has been instrumental in the company's rapid revenue growth and customer acquisition. He has over 20 years of sales, training, and alliance experience.

Mark has held several senior management positions prior to joining BT Conferencing. His most recent position was Vice President of Sales for Convergent Group, a systems integration firm specializing in the electric and gas utilities industry. During his tenure, Convergent Group experienced tremendous growth and went public in 2000.

Mr. Flood began his career at Southern New England Telephone in Connecticut where he held a variety of positions within their Yellow Pages organization. He holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

LaMont Eanes joined BT Conferencing in December 2006 from Premiere Global Services, where he was Executive Vice President of Global Information Systems. Prior to this, he had served as Senior Vice President of Service Delivery at Premiere. LaMont has a broad set of experiences that extend beyond the telecom industry. He started his working life as a Legislative Assistant to a State Senator. In 2002, he was one of sixteen individuals in the United States who received the National Excellence in Leadership award (NELI). This award recognizes minorities who have achieved excellence in corporate America as well as demonstrating a commitment to a broader social agenda. It was awarded to LaMont based on his contribution as a member of the Board of Directors of non-profit organisations including the WDAF Love Fund for Children, Ozanam Home, the Parent-Child Home Program and the American Skyline Insurance Company.

LaMont has led businesses operating in the wireless, long distance, local exchange, telemarketing, payphone, conferencing and premise equipment markets. He has worked in product, marketing, engineering, operations and has held human resources leadership roles at organisations including AT&T and Sprint.

LaMont has a degree in Political Science as well as an MBA.
