BT Conferencing offers three distinct entry options for Premium BT Event Call. These options give conference organizers the ability to customize the entry experience of their participants. The participants' experience with each entry option is noted below.
Participants dial directly into the conference by entering the conference dial-in number and passcode on their telephone keypad. This quick and easy entry places participants into the conference in just seconds. Participants who join early may hear music until the speaker begins.
Participants are invited to register prior to the conference. As part of the registration process, participants identify up to 20 pieces of information. This can be as simple as their name, or it can be extensive and include survey questions, branch location or lead source. After registering, participants can save the conference details in their calendar using an iCal. The iCal feature is a welcome convenience to participants and eliminates the possibility of transcription errors.

Pre-registration provides additional benefits to conference organizers. Organizer can preview the registration list prior to the call, ensuring the intended audience has registered. After the conference, organizers can identify who joined the conference.
Participants dial into the conference and are greeted by a BT Event Call coordinator. The coordinator will request the participant's name and passcode and any additional participant information as requested by the conference organizer (up to three additional pieces of information). The additional information typically includes company name, location, or cost center. The flexibility of Meet and Greet entry enables the coordinator to provide special handling of participants as they join conferences, perhaps providing special instructions or restricting access. After collecting information and providing instructions, the coordinator manually transfers participants into the conference. Participants may hear music until the speaker begins.
