What does my service cost?
Audio conferencing
Logica MeetMe Global Access Audio Conferencing service is a cost efficient conferencing solution that allows participants to dial-in using local country access numbers.
The audio conferencing service will be cross-charged to the chairpersons allocated project code - it is therefore important to keep your project code up-to-date. To update your project code please contact the help desk.
Below are some scenarios to highlight the costings for this service:
- UK audio conference call with 6 participants for 30 minutes using the toll free number. Total cost £8.10 (10.22 Euros) inc all call charges*
- International audio conference call with 2 participants in the UK, 2 participants in the Netherlands and 2 participants in France all using toll free numbers for 30 minutes. Total cost £12.90 (16.27 Euros) including all call charges*
- International audio conference call with 2 participants in the UK, 2 participants in the Netherlands and 2 participants in France all using toll numbers for 30 minutes. Total cost £7.92 (9.99 Euros) excluding local call charges
- International audio conference call with 2 participants in Germany, 2 participants in Czech Republic and 2 participants in Australia all using toll numbers for 30 minutes. Total cost £10.50 (13.24 Euros) excluding local call charges
*If using a mobile phone then an additional charge may be applied by your mobile service provider.

Web conferencing
Logica have purchased a 100 seat concurrent licence for Microsoft Live Meeting Web Conferencing service available on a 24/7/365 basis. This means that 100 users can be online at anyone time, this can be a single meeting of 100 participants, 20 meetings with 5 participants or any combination up to a maximum of 100.
If you require a larger number of participants for specific events then these can be arranged with the helpdesk.
The cost of this service is picked up by Group MIS and not your local project code.
Please note: meeting spaces are booked from a limited shared resource, therefore care should be taken not to over-book as this will deny spaces for other users. Meeting spaces that are booked but not used are routinely monitored.
Video conferencing
The preferred way for Logica employees to participate in a Video Conference call is to set up your own conference manually by booking the conference room and using the Video Conferencing equipment to directly dial the other location. However, in special circumstances, i.e. when you need to conduct a multi-site (3 locations and over) video conference, you should use the BT service.
Using the BT Managed Service will incur a charge allocated to your Logica project code. You therefore need to ensure that you have authority to book a Video Conference through BT. For further information please refer to the 'how do l get started' section on the video home page.
